Iraq occupies the 43rd position in terms of exports worldwide. In contrast, during 2017, its exports amounted to 60.8 billion dollars, while its imports reached 29.7 billion.
Iraq’s main export, at 95%, is crude oil, followed by gold. In terms of imports, we find equipment for the home, such as air conditioning or music players and metal structures.
India and China, almost equally, are the leading countries that have an economic relationship with Iraq. It is followed by the United States, South Africa, and Greece.
