Pakistan is the 68th largest economy in the world in terms of exports. During 2017 it exported products worth more than 24 billion dollars and imported about 56 billion.
As for its exports, the textile and cotton industry stands out, followed by rice. Other products include sugar or crude oil.
The primary recipient of its exports is the United States, followed by Germany and China in equal parts. Other essential countries regarding economic relations are Japan, Spain, and India.
