JINZHOU port is located in China’s Liaoning Province. It’s a seaport facing the Liaodong Bay on the Bohai Sea. The port handles millions of tons of coal annually, accounting for majority of its total throughput. A plan to expand the port was rejected by the environment ministry after failing to meet green guidelines.
